This senior pup recently received his full dental and neuter so he's all ready to go to his new home! He's looking for his person that will be his whole world. He's great with cats, he loves all people, and we think he would do well with other dogs in the home who are on the calm side and won't expect him to play very much. From Dio's foster mom: Dio spends a lot of the time sleeping either on the couch or under the covers in bed with me, but don't let his age fool you. He still has a lot of spunk left in him! He loves little sniff walks around the yard or neighborhood, he loves sunbathing on nice days, and he occasionally will try to play with stuffed animal toys. He is a great co-pilot for car rides and loves exploring new places. He might huff and puff if he isn't let outside or given attention on his terms, and if he can't find you in the house he'll let out a single bark every once in a while as his form of Marco-Polo to figure out where you are. Dio is very cuddly, sweet, and entertaining. He has some age-related and manageable medical concerns that we'd be happy to discuss with someone who's willing to provide Dio with a comfortable, relaxed home for this older boy.Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. -Applications can be downloaded from our website.
