Adopt Domino a White - with Black Australian Cattle Dog / Mixed dog in Houston
Domino turned up last September. He is really lovable and loving, but is also very anxious. He thinks he is a lap dog and will try desperately to climb in your lap even though he can't fit. And he doesn't know how to play gently with little kids. And when our young boys get too loud and rambunctious he seems nervous. He does very well with our kids over age 10. He needs to be around his family a lot and has a really hard time with being left alone. But when left in our room while we are gone he behaves very well. He gets depressed if alone too much. He is house trained. It took a couple of months, but he learned our family routine and seems to thrive on it. He has been very intent on guarding our home and yard, So he can be very loud and scary when he thinks us or our house are being "invaded". More work is needed in that area, but he has gotten better. We think he may be mixed with Pit. He would do well with someone who jogs. He needs a calm and patient personality in his owner.
