Drake is approx. a little over a year old, and we believe to be a German Shepherd and Cattle dog mix. He is nervous around new people and we do not recommend he goes to a home with children under 10. Drake is very dominant and would do best in a household where he is the only furry family member. He rides well in the car, is mostly house trained and is very sweet once he gets comfortable with his surroundings. He is very playful and affectionate once he opens up to you. I have noticed he can be protective, so that is something we would recommend training him on. He loves to play with his toys and play fetch too. He is a really cool dog, he just really needs an owner that is familiar with the cattle dog breed and can work with him. I believe with some good guidance and affection he will make a great companion. He is smart and willing to learn. He does know some basic commands. Come down and see if he's the perfect fit for you. Adoption fee is $75.
