Ducky is a sweet, loving pup who adores people and other dogs. He is a velcro dog for sure. Eager to please, but requires consistent training. He has low impulse control currently, he is mouthy, and he does jump up at people when he is excited. He likes to try to jump and grab arms and hair. We are currently working on this with him! He walks very well, he's quiet and non-reactive. He is high energy and loves other dogs. He shows a curiosity for cats; however, this leads to him chasing them and not respecting their boundaries. He has had minimal accidents in the house. He is very intelligent and is quick to learn, already having mastered some basic commands. Ducky has a habit of chewing on his tail, which we are trying to stop. We are unsure why he does this. He also has consumed plush toys, requiring a emergency vet visit. So, he is not allowed to have plush toys. He also enjoys stealing shoes, but has yet to chew on them. Ducky is also crate trained, which is where he sleeps, spends unsupervised time, and eats. Overall, Ducky is a very good boy who loves being around his humans. After Ducky gets all his energy out through play and walks, he is ready to snuggle up on the couch with his person.
