Adopt Echo a Black Great Dane / Mixed dog in Inver Grove Heights, MN (31106183)
Inver Grove Heights, MN
Status: AVAILABLE8/2/2021 Foster mom has a message to share from Miss Echo herself!Hi there, I am Echo. I've been in rescue a long time and cannot understand why no one wants me! You have no idea what you are missing. I am a 4 ½ yr. VERY pretty girl, did I mention pretty? I have so much love to share if only you would give me a chance! I am getting a complex.I am very playful and always want to be part of the action. I must have a fenced in yard or I will go on adventures and might not come back when you call. I love going on walks with foster Mom and am great on leash. It's really fun saying "hi" to the neighbors and they all know me. I also enjoy playing with balls and running outside. I do enjoy just about any adventure as long as it includes my foster Mom. My tail always wags; I am just warning you! I like to play hard and then take a nap. You will be surprised at how much energy I have for a middle aged gal. I still have it all going. I'm healthy, spayed and up-to-date on my vaccines. My foster Mom is amazing and I love her very much, but now I want my own forever home. She has taught me sit, down, no, come and good girl, she is so good to me. I was born with eyesight in only one eye, but don't let that fool you, I am a master zoomer! Foster Mom taught me the touch command on the side of my face which calms me down and helps me focus on what's next. Then I learned the touch command for shake and can rock out on how to shake on both sides. I am super smart, if I say so myself, plus I am an eager student! However, I will keep foster Mom on her toes because I am a rock star so please keep me challenged.I will need a home without other dogs or cats. I have been introduced to dogs carefully by my foster Mom, but I don't want to live with them. I loved the resident foster male Dane who lived here, but he passed away recently. We had supervised times together, and I really miss his presence. I like most everyone I meet but I am shy at the veterinarian's office and will put my tail between my legs but am not aggressive. Overall, I am a happy go lucky girl.My favorite thing to do is ride in the car. My second favorite is to pile up all my toys around me at night, I call them "my babies". Whoops, I take that back, my favorite thing would be to have a forever home, snuggle and be with you!I would do very well in a home that is willing to give me lots of attention and continue my special training. I prefer a home with structure and positive reinforcement and please tell me I am a good girl. I will always be loyal to you and will be forever grateful.
