Meet Ellie: Ellie is about a 1 year old (as of April 2024) lab / plot hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 50 pounds. Ellie was found in the south and her owners could not afford to feed her and planned to get rid of her when a volunteer stepped in to save her. Ellie is being fostered in the New Bloomfield, PA area and would love to meet her forever family. Ellie has a very sweet personality and is very laid back. Ellie lived in a home with children and loved them! She played nicely with them in the yard. Ellie gets along great with other dogs. Ellie is housetrained and working on her crate training. Ellie walks well on her leash and is a great friend to have around. We would love for Ellie to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely, but it is not a requirement.
