⭐️ Accepting Applications ⭐️ Apply at rocthedogsrescue.comAdoption donation is $350Bio:We are now accepting applications for Emerald! 1 year old Great Dane mix topping off at a lovely 83 pounds. Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, house broken and crate trained. We suspect some allergies so testing with your vet would be beneficial. This sweet girl has a lot to learn about life. She came to us very scared of most everything and malnourished. 🚪 Doorways were very scary at first and sometimes still spook her. A nice wide clear view helps! 🧢We highly suspect that she was abused. Any introductions MUST be slow, especially with males and no hats/hoods. If any children in the home, we are asking for them to be 10+. She is a large clumsy gal and frightens easily.🏡 a fenced yard is a must! Emerald LOVES to play outside and run especially with another large dog friend. She is still very much a puppy and will chew personal items if she doesn't run off her energy(it was a long week after her spay 😵💫) 🚽 she is house broken but it is important to learn her subtle ques and allow frequent potty breaks.🐈 she is curious of cats and occasionally tries to chase, but a swift "leave it" command will curb her. She is also doing very well with her sit and down commands. 🥩 treats and food will win this girls heart! She needs to eat on a schedule and from a slow feeder bowl-which 2 will come with her. 🦵fair warning: any potential adopters must be prepared for "the great dane lean." Emerald LOVES to lean against foster mama-often causing her to lose balance.
