Meet Finn! Finn entered Riverside County Animal Services on April 30 as a stray in terrible, neglected shape. He was so matted that it impaired his movement, so he was shaved under sedation for his comfort. Due to Finn's condition, the shelter reached out to rescues, and on May 7, he became a Frosted Face. Finn is estimated to be 12 years old, and he weighs 11 lbs. As you can see in the photos, his eyes appear enlarged and painful. Following a full evaluation by our on-site veterinary team, Finn is currently on four different eye drops to treat ulcers and glaucoma. Finn went on a two-week Frosted Fling immediately after he arrived to receive extra love, care, and attention in the comforts of a home. It was exactly what he needed! Finn has put on weight, and his hair is growing back in soft and healthy. He looks nothing like his shelter intake photo, thank goodness! Here is what we learned from their Fling Family: * Finn eats well and has a big appetite for a little dog!* He is very quiet and didn't bark in his fling home.* He loves being held and having his face scratched.* Finn is laid back and tolerant of everyone.* He likes to sleep against another dog and naps frequently.* Finn likes wandering and exploring in the yard. Finn is back on-site and ready for a forever home where he will be adored and pampered for the rest of his life.
