Meet the adorable Mr. Fitz! Fitz is a cute little terrier mix who is about a year old and weighs 15 pounds. Fitz was living on the streets Meet the adorable Mr. Fitz! Fitz is a cute little terrier mix who is about a year old and weighs 15 pounds. Fitz was living on the streets of South Texas and rescued by a wonderful lady. She contacted us and we gladly took him into our care. He is a sweet dog, and does have a warming up period. Living on the streets makes dogs leery of humans but he is quickly learning the comforts of home and how nice it is to receive love! He loves playing with his toys, interacting with the dogs in his foster home and sitting on his foster mom's lap. If you are looking for a sweet little dog to join your family, then he may be your guy. Fitz is located in a wonderful foster home near San Antonio, Texas. Fitz is available for transport on June 15th, to Allen Park, Michigan with approved application. Adoption fee is $400 including transport. *Fitz tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
