Goose is a shy but sweet 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who's looking for a family that is guardian breed savvy. Goose is looking for a family that is home most of the time, and who'll have a secure fenced yard for him to "guard" and also to zoom and play too. Being a Pyrenees, it's instinctive for him to be an alert barker when new people and animals come around, and also to be territorial of his home. He may not mind helping you out with your farm chores, he didn't mind meeting some livestock animal friends but wants to still be with his human. Goose is very shy when meeting new human friends, he prefers to watch and observe before deciding if he wants to mingle or not. Once he's built some trust with you and your allowed into his "inner circle", he is a giant cuddle bug that wants to be with his human as much as possible. He has that aloof Great Pyrenees temperament, but enjoys going for nature walks to investigate all the wild smells, and loves just hanging out in the yard to keep an eye on things and intermittently finding a toy to goof around with. When it comes to making friends with other dogs, he is selective with what he deems "friend" and prefers any potential dog friends be females only. He is looking to be the only dog in the home, but may not mind having some structured playdates once comfortable with new friends. He would prefer any children in his new home be dog savvy and older so they can understand his boundaries.
