Gretel is a 7 month old female retriever mix. She loves to play in the water and splash around on hot days. Her favorite game is chasing tennis balls, though she has not mastered the "bring it back" part. She does great with other dogs but would prefer to enjoy her meals alone in her own space. She has come leaps and bounds since she came in and she is making more progress every day to be the best dog she can. Come adopt from the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM)! Each year HSSM houses approximately 7,000 homeless pets. Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pets. If you have a question about one of our adoptable animals, give us a call at (228) 863-XXXX, email XXXX@hssm.org or stop by from 10am-5pm Tuesday-Friday or 10am-4pm Saturday. Walk-ins stop 30 minutes before close. We are located at 2615 25th Ave in Gulfport. Come to our back parking lot through our adoptions entrance.
