Meet Gunther! This 2-yo is ready for his forever home! Here is what his foster has to say about himPersonality: Gunther is a delightful blend of protector and cuddle-buddy. Known for his vigilant nature, Gunther is always on the lookout, ensuring his loved ones feel safe and secure. His loyal and protective instincts make him an excellent guardian, yet he has a tender side that loves to come out during quiet moments at home. Favorite Activities: Gunther thrives on human interaction and cherishes his cuddle time. He is a master snuggler and enjoys lounging beside you on the couch or at your feet. His eyes light up at the sight of treats, and he never says no to a tasty snack. In addition, Gunther has a special affinity for the company of other large dogs. He enjoys romping around with them, engaging in playful chases, and sharing mutual doggy camaraderie. Socialization: Gunther has been tested with a few other dogs and cats. Because of his size and weight he can often intimidate smaller animals as he runs towards them to play. We have not tested him around children but would see no issues other than has ability to jump really high. Given enough time and patience we are sure Gunther could make a friend out of everyone. Ideal Home: Gunther would flourish in a home that values his dual nature of protection and affection. A household with another large dog would be ideal, providing him with both companionship and the opportunity to play. His new family should be prepared to give him plenty of attention, treats, and of course, lots of cuddles.
