Meet Hallie! Hallie is about 4 years old, 53 lbs, and a Dalmatian. Hallie is the mom of the Fire Department litter and is now ready for her own home. Hallie is doing great with her house-training, crate-training, and walks really well on leash. She LOVES every person she meets. She would do fine in a home with kids 12+, but would prefer a home with no other dogs. Cats are unknown. A fenced in yard is a plus. She is very attached to her humans but will also settle under a desk if you work from home. She is great in the car! Dalmatian experience a plus.Her foster says, "Hallie is such a happy dog! She wags her tail non-stop. She has so much love to give. She is medium to low energy - one good walk a day is all she needs. She sleeps in her crate at night with the door open, but would love to sleep with you. She is discovering toys! She knows sit and down, and we are working on wait. She is super sweet and loves to give hugs to her people. We are working on "4 on the floor". She also loves to see what you are eating, and will need work on house-manners like not counter surfing."A refundable spay/neuter surgery deposit of $100 is required. The surgery will be coordinated and paid for by BDC and done at Tufts in Grafton within a few months, so adopters must be willing to comply with this MA regulation and within driving distance of Grafton.She is available for adoption with an approved adopter in Hopkinton, MA by appointment.
