A FUN & ACTIVE FRIEND: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 23 lbs. Hello, I’m Heather! I somehow found myself at animal control and thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to rescue me! I’m soaking up all the love from the volunteers who come every day to care for me and all the other dogs and cats that live here. It’s now time for me to find a great home of my very own!• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I liked the male dogs only. I did not like having my hind quarters sniffed so they will just need to understand this. If you have a friendly male dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I recently met children at Mostly Mutts, and I liked them – until they started running around and then I was not happy with them, so older kids only (age 15+) would be best in my new home and – of course, lets meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as sweet, curious, happy, playful, friendly, and cheerful! All good qualities that I’m sure you will love! I’m coming out of my shell more and more every day. I also have some pretty great eyebrows that are a must-see! / My energy level is 6-8, so make sure you’re ready to be active with your new best friend! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’ve shown the volunteers that I know the ‘sit’ command, and I bet you can teach me lots more great doggie commands. I get excited when it’s my turn to go out with the volunteers, so I do jump a little, but I’m sure you can help me learn not to do that. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve been having only a few accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like toys and enjoy playing with the volunteers, so I’m sure we will have fun together. I have a lot of energy to work off, so I would love to spend time with an active family member. We can have lots of adventures together. / The big trucks I see and hear on my walks startle me, so perhaps we can find some quieter places to walk than the roads by the shelter. I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.I am looking for a home with a loving family who will cherish me for life!
