Henry, oh Henry. Our little Henry at 1.5 years old is special in so many ways. He is a true working dog. He is the most loving and loyal companion you could ever hope to find. He loves to play and sometimes seems like he has boundless energy. He likes to be active - working if you will. Our boy is a natural herder and has been known to nip (that is how working dogs move the livestock). This has made finding just the right home a challenge for our boy. He can sometimes be impulsive and that makes it difficult finding the right person to take him home. He really would thrive in a working situation where he is on some land with a patient human that can teach him the boundaries of the property so he doesn't roam and recall for when he needs to come to his human. He is highly social and loves other dogs. We are thinking a family that already has working dogs that have shelter or protection and a comfortable spot to sleep (hopefully inside) at night. He will need some training on how to do his job so someone that likes working with their dogs and working on training would be perfect for Henry.
