We have had sweet Higgins (beagle mix) since he was a few months old. He is now six. Higgins is much beloved by our family and so sweet natured. We have a three year old son and are expecting a second baby this June. Higgins is fine with dogs and cats, but skiddish around children, and although he has never bit a child or shown any aggression to our toddler son, we feel that his displayed nervousness around children he’s not familiar with plus the energy it takes to care for a dog and two babies means it is time to find him a better home. We want to see him somewhere where he is as loved by his new family as he is with us. He is fully house broken. He loves outside time in the sun and walks on his leash. The ideal family would have a yard, be active, and have children 13 and older.
