Honey is an Amish puppy mill survivor who has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate companion despite her challenging past. She's looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention and share her abundant love. Honey has a sweet, gentle disposition and craves human affection. She loves to cuddle, be petted, and will happily stay by your side, making her the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal, loving friend. She's a quick learner and very intelligent, as is characteristic of her breed, and she enjoys mental stimulation through interactive toys and gentle training exercises. Due to her past experiences, Honey can be a bit shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and her true loving nature shines through. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she can feel safe and secure. Because she prefers to be the only dog, Honey would do best in a home where she can be the sole recipient of your love and attention. Honey is looking for a special person or family who understands her background and can offer her the patience and care she needs to continue growing in confidence. Honey is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Honey is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.
