Location: St Paul, MN She loves to get pets but prefers to not be picked up, she is normally about a medium energy level but when she gets playing with Holly she can get a little crazy, she loves to sleep with Holly at night and has been very good with my other dogs, she loves kids especially if they are willing to share food, loves to play with some toys but others aren't her favorite, currently working on being house trained but will give signs to go outside and will use a potty mat most of the time, prefers to have you sit on the floor so she can climb in your lap, loves to be able to run outside but can cause her to get a little crazy, she will sleep in a kennel but prefers to have the door open, she likes being able to go inside the kennel during the day to relax after playing or taking naps, is still learning how to do stairs but has been able to use a ramp, hasn't figured out how to jump up on furniture yet, she'll let you know if she is scared Ivy is shy at first but after a day or two she brings out her personality. She loves to get pets and will even climb into your lap if you sit on the floor. She'll come right up to you and stand on her back legs to reach you for pets. She is great with other dogs and kids. She is still learning house training but is doing great as showing signs of needing to go outside. She hasn't figured out steps yet but is really good with ramps. She likes to be able to have access to her kennel during the day to sleep in but would probably enjoy just having a bed. She is really good at night to sleep in her kennel but she does like to have someone/something with her as well. She does bark from time to time if she gets scared or startled. Loves to play with toys but is still learning what the difference is between a puppy toy and what isn't. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
