Hi! My name is Jake and I am looking for a forever home. I am an owner surrender after my previous owner agreed to give me up rather than being cited for animal cruelty (I had to live on their porch in a cat crate all of the time & was never let out to use the bathroom). I appear to be a rat terrier mix (maybe with something bigger). I am 10 weeks old and 8 pounds. I will probably be a medium sized dog when I'm full grown around 30-35 pounds. Even with my rough start, my foster mom says I'm super sweet, trusting and love everyone I meet, both two and four-legged. I'm good on leash and am doing really well with potty-training. I will need continued training and socialization to become the great adult dog my foster mom says I'm on my way to becoming.
