Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Avon, CO Jax is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 39 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Jax is nervous around strangers and fearful of other dogs. No small children, due to his reactivity! He is good with older children. Jax hasn’t been tested around cats. He nipped the pants of a window washer who came to their house. He bit their 1 year old granddaughter on the face after the child came up from behind and pulled on him. The owner is surrendering him because of this bite. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Jax, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Jax.
