Jerry is a handsome, sweet boy. He knows how to sit, shake, and lay down and seems eager to learn more tricks if treats are involved. He has a great amount of energy! Volunteers say "Jerry is such a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. Today we went on a walk around the neighborhood and chilled at home. While on the walk he walked so well, not pulling at all. He walked surprisingly slow for the amount of energy he has. While at home we chilled and tried to play. He was not interested in any of the toys I brought for him, he more so wanted to be chased around or play mouthy. He was gentle when playing mouthy and would stop if I showed any indication of not liking it. If I was up moving around he was following and wanting to play, but if I settled he also settled. He likes being right next to you, but also liked exploring the apartment. He definitely would make a great companion for someone moderately active that also loves to chill." "We went hiking at Devil's Ice Box and went to an outdoor restaurant for a little bit. Jerry did very well in the car, was a good listener when I asked him to do tricks, and was excited to adventure! He would need a strong person to walk him; he was very sweet, just determined to adventure. He was very comfortable with people! He let me touch his mouth and paws. Very loving!"
