Juju came to us after living on her own for months outside of a retail store in Denham Springs. She had to be trapped because she was worried about humans, but took just minutes to show her rescuers her sweet loyal personality. Juju was very sick when we first got her and had to have emergency life saving surgery to remove a ton of heartworms from her heart. She is thankfully recovered but does have some other medical woes. She had a large mammary tumor removed during her spay surgery and also is on a special food for high liver enzymes. Even with all of this, she longs to be near people. She is currently living at our vet clinic and has some doggy friends and many human buddies, but she would love to be at a home where she can relax and give all her love to someone.
