Approx. DOB: 8/9/17 Approx. Weight: 9 LBS Adoption Fee: $250 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! June Bug is a very sweet girl. She's a Japanese Chin who is 7 years old. She came from a breeder. She was very shy and scared but she is doing great! When she was spay the vet said she has a grade 2 or 3 heart murmur. She went back to get it rechecked and our vet started her on a low dose of Pimobendan (1.25mg - 2x daily). She is doing great on potty training but not fond of her kennel. She gets along with my other foster and my personal dog. She loves to do the praying paws and she's very good at it. She is starting to have interest in toys. Junebug does not walk on a leash so a fenced yard is preferred for her to safely potty & play. I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped and had a dental. Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
