Holy moly, what an exotic-looking doggo! Meet Kenai, a 2-month old, 15-pound (as of 5/12) Shepherd/ Norwegian Elkhound/Cattle Dog mix who will turn heads whenever she goes! People will continually say, OMG, what type of dog is that? Friendly toward adults, kids, and other pooches, Kenai is a super happy girl who is warm, welcoming, and actually gazes right into your eyes. She is extremely affectionate and accepts all manner of handling - from pets to scratches to massages to belly rubs. No area is off limits and whenever you feel like snuggling up to her, she’s all in! Kenai is a playful pup who like toys, going for walks, and romping around in enclosed spaces. She is getting the hang of leash walking and doing quite well. She is great with the pee pads and she’s also crate trained. She will sit when you ask her to do so, and she is willing and eager to learn more commands. It’s just a matter of time. She’s got what it takes! Kenai has a good appetite, enjoys treats, and likes playing with other dogs…but her first love is for her humans. Even at her tender age, you can tell Kenai is a true people dog who will make an excellent family pet. It’ll be such a pleasure watching this gentle beauty grow and mature. Whoever adopts this angel will be getting pure gold…just like the color on the outer tops of her very cool ears!!
