INTRODUCING KILLUA (meaning: son of lightning) Killua, a charming boxer cross approaching 2 years old, weighs 87 lbs and is on the lookout for his forever home. Killua exudes an old-soul charm. He'll nestle next to you, gently placing his paw on you for a pat. He's more comfortable around women but can be cautious around men. Killua would thrive in a home without cats or small dogs. He adores car rides, though he might need a bit of encouragement to hop into the vehicle. During one of our walks, Killua met a mother and her young daughter. The little girl offered him a treat, and he behaved impeccably, delicately accepting the treat from her. I believe he could mesh well with older, gentle children; however, toddlers might not be the best match due to his size. He relishes chew toys and treats, and he's at ease both indoors and outdoors. Thunder tends to scare him. On walks, he exhibits curiosity towards sounds, often standing at attention before moving along. He is still working on his leash skills. Is house trained.
