Adopt Koda von Kothel a Black German Shepherd Dog / Mixed dog in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA
Koda von Kothel is a stunning 14 month old coated German Shepherd from a breeder. Koda is one gorgeous beauty with a plush, longer coat. She will turn heads no matter where she is with her fluffy good looks! According to her prior owner, she loves all dogs, children, but is not a fan of cats. Koda really enjoys people and other dogs. She loves being rubbed all over, ear scratches and attention from her people. She is also skilled for her young age. Her repertoire includes, sit, paw, taking treats gently, house trained, crate trained, rides great in a car and her fun trick – “high 5”. Another favorite thing of Koda’s is playgroup. She gets along with male and female dogs, socializing through the group with her tail waging. She is an amazing all-around girl, looking for an amazing home. She’s made a list of what she would like in her new life….an active family, maybe some kids, a yard to enjoy and another playful dog to help keep her busy (no kitties please). Look at that face, you won't be disappointed! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Koda von Kothel YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.sheprescue.org Application link: http://www.sheprescue.org/Application_to_Adopt_a_Dog%20Main.html Based on our experience, Westside's current thinking is to usually match first-time shepherd owners with a mix versus a purebred shepherd. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
