Kyper is a lovable dog. He is 8 years old. He was raised with two kids who are now out of the house. Our empty nest routine makes it a challenge to give him the time and attention he needs without more people to share time and attention. He has thunder anxiety to the point that we meditate him prior to big storms. During thunderstorms, if we need to leave the house without him, we will confine him to a pet crate in a room without windows and where we can play a distracting sound (music). It isn’t easy to make this decision but we believe another family may have more success in caring for him.
