By appearance, Loretta has had one main purpose in life until this point and it is being a money maker for a greedy owner who let her continually have babies. No more! Her recent litter was just weaned, Loretta has been spayed and is looking for a forever family of her own. Loretta is a love with humans. Everyone is her best friend. We aren't certain if she has lived as a house dog before so she may take some time learning to live as a house pet but we predict her favorite activity will be Netflix and chill, though she may take some time to decompress, relax and learn the comforts of living in a home. We've done two dog intros with Loretta and right now, she's very nervous and unsure and stiff in posture which makes our team uncomfortable pushing her for more interactions. At this time, we think it would be best for Loretta to go home as an only dog to allow her time to relax and decompress and see once she's used to just being a dog, not a puppy maker, if that changes. After all, if every time you encountered another dog you ended up with a litter of puppies, you'd be nervous too.Cat test done in controlled environment, she had no reaction to themLoretta weighs 67.2 PoundsAdoption Fee: $100Date of Birth: 11/7/2019Intake Reason: Transfer InAnimal will be spayed and up to date on vaccines, and microchipped prior to adoption. If their kennel card on display at TAPS shelter facility is marked as unaltered, the animal will be altered prior to being released for adoption. Animal stage may change from time to time based on surgery and medical status. TAPS strives to keep kennel cards as up to date as possible with current information but from time to time, information may change and a new kennel card may be pending. Full and current vaccination schedule and medical records along with any behavioral disclosures will be provided at time of adoption.
