Lucy Lou recently went on a Dog Day Out and here's what her DDO buddy had to say! "Lucy Lou! I had the BEST Dog Day Out today with this sweet girl! - A+ car rider! Was so quiet I actually had to check and see that she was still there! She was even patient while I stopped for gas. This girl is up for anything! - A+ leash walker! She is so easy to walk, if it wasn't so hot today, we would have gone farther. - Loved playing off leash, and is an expert at fetch! She also know "sit and "shake and takes treats super gently. - When encountering other dogs, she liked to bark hello, but wagged her tail the whole time, and was easily redirected. - Very sweet and calm disposition. She enjoyed attention and pets, but was also independent and could entertain herself. I just know this girl will be a wonderful addition to a home and family. She's really just the best!! " As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
