M&M is so sweet and gentle with everyone. She can be shy at first but then warms right up and loves to play! She is a HUGE cuddler. If you are on the couch, she wants to be on the couch touching you and practically sitting on top of you! She is crate trained and working on potty-training, and leash walking. She already knows sit and paw! She loves all dogs and is uninterested in cats. She loves to chase birds in the yard though!It is so fun watching her run around - with her long legs she doesn’t know what to do - its like watching a baby deer M&M and her sibling Reeses were being given away by a homeless person on Houston. A kind volunteer picked them up but unfortunately, no one had seen their mom in several days as recounted by the homeless man. M&M is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you).To adopt or learn more about: you must fill out an adoption application. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
