Meet Marci, a two and a half year old Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix. Marci was found running around with Elise, they are currently in separate kennels but really seem to like each other; they always say hi as they pass each-others kennels. Marci is around 53 pounds and is sweet, but unsure of everything new. She would love someone who will help her build up her confidence and she may do well in a home with another dog that can show her the ropes. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week! A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
