Adopt Marley the Puggle a Brown/Chocolate - with Black Pug / Beagle / Mixed dog
Marley was an owner surrender, a victim of Covid unemployment. We don't know a lot about him yet, but his foster mom did note a few things. His body is more beagle than pug; his face is about 70 percent pug, 30 percent beagle. He has a snout, about half the length of a beagle's, but he's got the eyes and the occasionally furrowed brow of a pug. Basically, he looks like Ernest Borgnine. He has a lovely dark copper coloration with a black saddle back and some white on his paws. He's housetrained, although the first thing he did was lift his leg when he got here. He seems healthy. Teeth look really white. Loves his toys. He was understandably anxious on his night. He's curious and still figuring things out but catches on really quickly. Rides well in the car. Barks, but not very dog reactive. Not running up to greet them, either, although he did meet a neighbor's Goldendoodle and did just fine. Can be very stubborn on walks. I don't go far with him because, even though he has a pronounced snout, he is still a pug and I worry about all that bracycephalic stuff.
