Meet Marta! Marta is a 6 year-old, 14 pound Havanese who is cute, fluffy, and full of love for everyone she meets. Marta can be pretty shy at first and may need some time to warm up to you, although she has been doing great with her current foster family and is slowly starting to come out of her shell. She feels most secure when inside her crate and would sometimes prefer to spend time in there versus going out for a walk, but with plenty of love and patience, we're confident that she will never want to leave your side! Marta is very quiet and loves to sleep, needing some time to decompress after a full day of activity. If she sounds like the perfect match for you and your family, apply to adopt her today! Marta is currently being fostered in Willingboro, NJ, and her adoption fee is $600. Marta is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them.
