Adopt Mei a Tan/Yellow/Fawn - with Black Alaskan Malamute / Husky / Mixed dog in
Born on January 15th 2020 to a giant Alaskan malamute father and a much smaller Siberian husky mother, Mei is a lovable and intelligent pup weighing in at 93lbs. She takes after the malamute side and will lay around the house until it is time to play or walk. She currently lives as the only dog in a family setting with an infant but is used to living with other dogs. Being a quarantine pup, she has separation anxiety and needs at least one person present at home. She is mostly crate trained but may try to escape a wire crate if left alone. Mei loves learning new tricks and does well entertaining herself. She will play catch with herself but also enjoys fetch. She does very well with a routine and will communicate her needs if necessary. For being a husky she does not howl and talks infrequently. Despite being shy, she loves meeting new people and dogs and gets very attached to those she sees regularly. Within a few weeks she has become quite popular in her new neighborhood.
