Merrick - Great Dane Age: 9 months Good with: Cats: yes Dogs: yes, preferred Kids: yes Location: Brewerton. NY Weight: 136 Merrick is true to his breed a gentle giant He is all love. He was a heart on his chest inside and out He is good with other dogs, cats, kids, ect… working on training, he goes potty outside. Everything is new for him due to being rescued from a breeding situation, so we are doing a lot of training at this point.. However, he is a quick learner! He loves being around his “pack”. The ideal home for Merrick would have someone who is home most of the time, and is committed to continuing his training. While not required, Merrick would probably do best in a home with another dog to help teach him dog behaviors and keep him company. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, the dog is considered available for adoption. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
