Miles recently went on a Dog Day Out and here's what his DDO buddy had to say! "Precious Pupper: Miles (of smiles)! Miles is SO CUTE! He is a happy, goofy, sweet, cuddly, eager young adult. In addition to being a beautiful dog, Miles didn't meet a human or dog he didn't love. He wanted pets from every human and quietly wagged his tail at every dog he saw. He seems very trainable and was quickly learning "off (no jumping), "shake/paw, and sit. He would be excellent for someone who wants a dog they can train according to their own preferences. He is excellent on a leash and not a hard puller. He walked great along the side of the road in my development. He would be a great walking companion! He will continuously look back at you and check in. Miles will sit on your lap and wrap his arms around you, giving you a hug. He is very affectionate and bonds quickly. If you go to see him at GCAS, bring a treat! If he barks (so excited!), give him a treat and he will calm down quickly." As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
