This is Minka, a resilient and sweet young pup, approximately 3 months old, who has overcome a challenging start in life. She came to us after being hit by a car, and then underwent surgery and skin treatment, showing remarkable strength during her recovery. Even her name means "strong." This medium-sized, spayed sweetie is currently working on her house training and shows great progress, signaling when she needs to go out by heading to the door. She is comfortable using her crate and does well on car rides. Minka is a fast learner who knows commands like "sit" and "no," though tricks are not in her repertoire yet. With her love of treats (any kind), she could easily be motivated to learn more! She loves exploring on walks, ideally using a harness because of her injury, and only pulls on the leash initially and then calms down quickly. Minka's favorite pastime is playing with her chew toys. As she's still in her young adult phase, she's both an energetic player and a gentle, affectionate soul who leans into her people to show love. She is a social butterfly, getting along well with both big and small dogs, and is now learning appropriate play behavior. Minka's unique charm lies in her eagerness to please, her ability to adapt and learn quickly, and her heartwarming affection.
