MISTY is a 2 year old, female german shepherd that weighs 65 lbs. She is smart, affectinate, and active. She spent quite a bit of time in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Her inmate had to give her plenty of time to settle and relax as she'd been in a small, county shelter for quite a while and was a bundle of nerves. Once settled in, her obedience training began. She excelled and the more her inmate had to teach her, the more she wanted to learn. She is a german shepherd and as such, is very task driven. Her favorite "task" was to run the perimeters of the yard fence at the prison. She was always on alert. Inside, she's a cuddle bunny. Misty plays very well with other dogs and is very engaging with people. Her adoption fee is WAIVED! If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application.
