Apply to Adopt Me! Molly is a shih tzu mix, believed to be a little over a year old and weighs 8lbs. She is such a lovable, little girl. She gets along with other dogs and cats and plays, but really prefers snuggling next to or on her human. She loves to be held and will fall asleep on your lap or beside you on the couch. And who can resist that cute face with them teethies? We are working on potty training and she does well when going out often. Of course, patience is the key with praise and treats. She is happiest when she is in the same room as you. At night, she has been sleeping with her puppy in a crate in the bedroom (by the bed) with their pillow and blankets. But we feel she will transition just fine to sleeping with you. She is a happy dog and loves to play with her puppy and toys. She loves to go outside and explore, however, she will always need close supervision since she is so small. She would do well in a home with or without children, but due to their small size, if the home has children, they must be older and respectful. She will need frequen potty breaks and will be happiest with someone who is home most of the time and looking for a snuggle buddy. Molly will require grooming/trimming every few months and the adopter should be aware of this recurring expense.
