Monique was living on the streets in the valley with her sister and mom. Tragically her mom was killed by a car. It took weeks to trap Monique, but a very persistent local dog lover finally trapped her. She is still so scared, but is getting more confident slowly. She needs time to learn that not all humans are scary. She’s learning to walk on a leash and that it’s okay for people to pet her. She doesn’t mind other dogs. She prefers to just sit near them and not really interact. Monique will require a patient home but seeing her bloom into the amazing dog she’s meant to be is going to be the most amazing reward.
