Check out this little man. He may look serious in his photos, but he is actually a very easy going, happy 1 year old. Nicho immediately likes everyone he meets. He will be in your lap as soon as you sit down. He is also good with the other dogs in his foster home. We aren't sure about cats. Nicho loves to take walks and explore the beautiful weather we are having, and does have a handful of favorite toys he enjoys. He is great on a leash, and in his crate. He hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. He has many opportunities to go out, so we haven't yet learned if he indicates when he needs to go potty.While he is young and has lots of energy, he also likes to hang out on the couch and watch tv with his people. Nicho is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you).To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
