Adopt Niko a White - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn Shih Tzu / Mixed dog in Ypsilanti

Niko is losing his home as no fault of his own. His pet parent is going through Cancer, is a older woman, she can't care for him and for his housemate another Shitzu named Otis who is a older dog. Niko is almost six years old, about 20 pounds or so and is used to being in a home with a nice big backyard that is fenced and is used to being home with his Mom full time. He loves long walks, he loves to share the couch and the bed and he's been very sad that he understands his situation is changing and that things are very difficult suddenly. We are looking for a home for him, and possibly with Otis as well, with a person who is healthy enough to walk him daily, home or working from home, has a fenced yard so he can run around off leash like he's always been used to and has room in their home and their heart for him and possibly Otis. Niko is a healthy doggie, Otis is older and not as well off as he has problems with walking far, he may be close to the last few years of his life. Niko loves him. He watches out for him.
