Ontari, or “tari” as we call her, is a rescue dog we adopted from a shelter in Hastings, MN. This lovely dog is great with kids but can be aggressive towards other animals and strangers. She needs a patient owner with the time and resources to help her unlearn these behaviors. Finding a caring home willing to provide the necessary training and support is crucial for her well-being. She has always been extremely loving and kind to our family, but can also be very protective from people she doesn’t know. Ontari loves to play fetch and is very good at it. She could play for hours if you let her! Ontari is very apprehensive and sometimes aggressive towards men and other dogs. This can be attributed to the situation she was in before she was brought to a shelter prior to us adopting her. The ideal new home for Ontari would be a quiet home with a fenced in yard and somebody who has plenty of time to spend with her and get her outside to exercise.
