Meet Pax! He is a sweet, very well-trained handsome Australian shepherd with a strong herding drive. He has great recall and enjoys pleasing his owner. He loves his people and makes the cutest noises when cuddled. He is very expressive when he likes or dislikes something. Pax is tenacious about his boundaries and does not like to be pet by strangers. He does well around other people with a toy to distract him and a safe space that he knows is his. Limitation to new people once in his new home would be helpful to settle in as he takes a while to warm up. We found him to be anxious settling in during the first couple days, but then proudly owning his place. He does very well with a routine and will remind you of the small things- like drying his paws before coming into the house- should you forget the habits you introduced. He does great in the dog park and on trailruns and walks staying close-by but playing with other dogs. He does not like fast moving noisy things.
