Paxson is a very special dog. He was rescued from the side of the road as a puppy, and had a gruesome burn down his spine (see photo). He was the first dog to be treated in a hyperbaric chamber, and was included in a research study! Since then, he has a characterizing long scar down his back. Paxson is the best friend anyone could ever ask for. He loves his people deeply. He may take a minute to warm up to you, but once you are his person, you will always be his person. He will be so excited to see you come home that you’ll wish you never had to leave. He will lick your face when you cry. He will follow you from room to room (unless he is really, really comfy). Paxson would do best with an experienced dog owner who is responsible and understanding. Paxson has developed some behavioral issues due to his anxiety in his old age that need special hypervigilance. Please contact me for more info.
