Penny, our 10-year-old German Shepherd has a heart of gold and a spirit that shines brighter than the sun. Penny was found in a good samaritan's driveway with a desperate plea for help. Penny does not have the use of her back legs, but does have control of her potty. She was thrilled to receive a wheelchair giving her something to smile about. Her disability doesn't hold her back from enjoying life to the fullest. She can explore and potty just like any other dog with her wheels attached, she just needs help getting in and out. While inside, she is a cuddle bug that wants nothing more than to be by your side. Our sweet Penny is a testament to the power of love and determination. With her unwavering spirit and endless capacity for love, Penny is an inspiration to us all. She deserves a loving family who will cherish her for the incredible dog that she is. Apply to come meet our remarkable Penny today and discover the love and happiness that she has to offer. Penny’s adoption fee is $100.00 and includes first shots, worming, sterilization, and her wheelchair. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.
