Phoenix was involved in a court abuse case and has been in foster care during that time. She had a very difficult life until she came to us, but is doing quite well now. She likes male dogs only and should not be in a home with meows. She is 7 years old, but has a lot of life and love left to give and live. We are looking for a low key family for her. She has a lot of scars all over her body from the abuse she endured. We were told by a family member that she lived in a small crate in the kitchen. She had cigarette burns all over her body and the vet said her x-rays showed two broken jaws that healed on their own. Her abuser sliced her neck open and with all of this he received just three months of jail time. If you find it in your heart to adopt this beautiful girl, your reward will be watching her daily as she lives out the life she deserves.
