Adopt Pip - Local 6/1 a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) / Mixed dog in Barrington
Location:
Barrington, RI
Description:
Meet PipHe loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. He is super curious about dogs. He loves his big foster brother—he can play with the big boys!!Both he and his sister Squeak love to hide when they come in from playing outside - they'll go under chairs, tables, desks, anything they can find. Despite their petite stature, Pip and Squeak have boundless energy and love to play and explore. Whether chasing after toys or curling up in your lap for snuggles, they're always full of spunk and affection. They adore human companionship and thrive in a loving home where they can receive plenty of attention and TLC.These two came to us from our friends at All 4's Rescue League in Memphis. They were with a family in a pretty economically challenged area who couldn't afford to keep the puppies given to them. We are, of course, thrilled they knew what was best for the babies. The puppies can be adopted together or separately - all applications will be considered. They will be fine as long as they are loved!Name: PipBreed: Terrier (puppy expected to be approx. 40 lbs full grown)Sex: MaleAge: 3 months as if 5/26Weight: 13 lbs on 5/26Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? Please consider purchasing this book before adopting your puppy. Perfect Puppy in 7 Days—How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, by Sophia Yin, DVM, is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have received amazing feedback on.https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Puppy-Days-Start-Right/dp/096415XXXXIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
