ADOPT ME ON-LINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/8014Hello, I'm Pluto! I am 2 years old and weigh about 40 pounds. I am a "Desi Dog" (a local term for "native street dog") from India in search of a home of my own. I was found alone on the street being attacked by older dogs when I was just a little puppy. I was rescued by Kannan Animal Welfare (KAW), a local animal welfare group in New Delhi, who kept me safe till I was old enough for a forever home. When I was 6 mons old, OPH brought me to the U.S, and I was adopted by a precious family. But recently the older dog in the house started attacking me (not my fault!), and wouldn't stop even when I tried to get away. So I was returned to OPH to find a new home.My foster mom says I am the best boy -- I am house trained and crate-trained and I know lots of basic commands. I like other dogs if I have a few minutes to get used to them, but I think cats are meant to be chased! I am a shy, gentle boy. I am scared of new people, especially men, and will try to hide. Children are kind of scary to me too. But once I get to know you, I am a playful, goofy, sweet, loyal boy! I love to run and play and wade in streams and lakes. I would love to live in a quiet neighborhood with a big yard or park to run in, maybe with some dog friends to play with (though I wouldn't mind being an only dog too).
