Meet RileyYou've got to love the response from a foster Mom asking about a pup, and she replies, "She's a very good girl and a lovely lady!" Say hello to Riley. This 7-year-old, spunky gal who doesn't always act her age has a whole lot going for her. Riley is beautiful, super sweet, and loving. She is dog friendly, and while not a pushover, she is a good playmate with the crazies and the calmer types. Riley has lived with cats, but an introduction to a new feline would be necessary. Riley is not crate-trained but has no destructive tendencies and can be left free in the house. She did have kids in her life previously. They were older children, so we are unsure how she might be with babies or toddlers. She does well on a leash after the initial excitement of getting out and about. She settles quickly. Riley will require a physically fenced yard or a tie-out. Her previous family attempted E fence training, and she just blew right through it even after serious training efforts. She's a pretty smart gal! She is a bit wary of people right away but then warms up after a short time. She needs a little space to ensure she's comfortable before becoming your friend. She has yet to meet anyone she has not liked. Her foster mom suggests that Riley have a dog as a housemate. Riley would love to be adopted with Ricky Bobby if you have room for two. These two have become super close at Hounds Town Doggie Daycare, and she is great with and for him. They are super cute together. Ricky Bobby or not, Riley would do best with another dog in the house as she does LOVE to play.
